1. Data controller and scope
HUAM Deportiva is responsible for Huam Crono. This policy applies to the mobile application and the web version available at crono.huamdeportiva.com. For privacy inquiries, email info@huamdeportiva.com.
2. Information used
The application may process information provided by the organizer, including:
- Participant names, bib numbers, categories, and additional participant details.
- Events, races, courses, and timing points.
- NFC wristband or tag identifiers and their assignments.
- Timestamps, capture devices, reading sources, and corrections made.
- Files imported or exported at the user's direction.
3. Purpose
The information is used to prepare and operate sporting events: assigning wristbands, recording passages, calculating results, resolving incidents, reviewing history, and generating exports. It must not be used for external campaigns, data sales, or purposes unrelated to the event.
4. Local storage
The current version stores operations primarily on the device or browser where Huam Crono is used. This allows work to continue without an internet connection. Information may be lost if the app is uninstalled, browser storage is cleared, or the device is reset without a backup.
The organizer should export periodic backups and protect physical and digital access to the operating device.
5. Sharing and exports
Huam Crono does not automatically share lists with third parties from local operations. Users may export files and share them using device features. From that point onward, the organizer is responsible for the destination, access, retention, and deletion of those files.
6. Device permissions
On compatible devices, the application may request NFC access to read wristband identifiers. This permission is used for assignment and timing features. Compatibility depends on the device, operating system, and reader.
7. Retention and deletion
Local information remains until the user deletes readings, clears demonstration data, deletes application data, or uninstalls the product. The organizer should retain data only for as long as necessary to operate and document the event.
8. Security
We apply reasonable measures intended to reduce unauthorized access. No system is infallible. We recommend using protected devices, limiting who can operate the app, keeping the system up to date, and avoiding the sharing of exports through insecure channels.
9. Minors and participant data
When an event includes minors, the organizer is responsible for obtaining the necessary authorizations and limiting the information collected to what is required for the event.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when features or applicable requirements change. The revision date will be displayed at the top of the page.
